Tour Indiana’s Jimmy Stewart Museum, which highlights its namesake's accomplishments in film, radio, and TV. His roles as military hero, civic leader, and family man are woven into displays, film presentations, and gallery talks. While you're downtown, take a stroll through the heart of Indiana and discover its vibrant restaurant scene and locally owned shops.

Indiana County is a hidden gem for some of the best craft beer in the state. Noble Stein Brewing Company and Levity Brewing Company offer broad selections of beer and continually issue new releases. The breweries are located one mile of each other and are situated along the Hoodlebug Trail, a 10-mile trail that is open year-round for bicycling and hiking. Not far down the trail is Disobedient Spirits, an artisan distillery that features hand-crafted cocktails made from in-house spirits. Each venue has a packed entertainment schedule and regularly hosts live music, food trucks and special events.

Indiana County has plenty of annual events year-round. Over Memorial Day weekend, Indiana hosts the Westsylvania Jazz and Blues Festival, a free outdoor music festival featuring nationally and internationally known musicians, as well as vendors, children's activities, and late night performers at various local venues.

In June, get a thrill at the Jimmy Stewart Air Show, featuring top-notch exciting military aircraft fly-bys, unique and rare aircraft and classic car displays, interactive children's activities, and informative talks with aviation experts and WWII historians.

Enjoy a scenic drive through Amish country to Smicksburg, home of antique specialty shops, pottery studios, and special events and festivals throughout the year.

Kick off the holiday season at the "It's A Wonderful Life" Parade and Festival in charming downtown Indiana. The five week holiday celebration includes a parade, crafts, marshmallow roasting, hayrides, a live nativity, performing artists, and more, centered around a live 32ft. Christmas tree.
