In the craft brewing world, innovation and new flavors constantly change the game, but you can still get a comforting brewery experience with some classic joints. When you want a craft brewery that feels like home, here are the best craft breweries in Pennsylvania to check out:

  • Tröegs Brewing Company: This brewery has existed for almost 30 years and was built with flexibility in mind, taking pieces from many brewing traditions to create the perfect pour. With their brewery located in the heart of Hershey, you can take their award-winning tour and discover why Troeg's is a perfect destination for delicious drinks and food.
  • Yuengling: Pull up a stool and grab a pint at America's oldest brewery. Established in 1829, their beer is sold throughout the country, but you'll find the brewery's beginnings an hour to the northeast of Harrisburg.
  • Erie Brewing Company: When in Pennsylvania's Great Lakes region, this brewery is a must-visit. Here, you can relax in a welcoming atmosphere and sip plenty of unique seasonal flavors.
  • Penn Brewery: With more than 100 years of brewing history, this location has truly perfected the craft and offers various seasonal and small-batch beers. Stop by next time you're in Pittsburgh.

When you want to enjoy fresh air and socialize with other brewery visitors, sites with outdoor spaces like beer gardens provide the ideal atmosphere. Many Pennsylvania craft breweries offer outdoor areas where you can sip a delicious brew while taking in your surroundings.

  • Weyerbacher Brewing: This craft brewery destination in Pennsylvania began in a livery stable and is known for its flavorful brews. The location includes a food truck outside and plenty of space for dogs.
