Dutch Country Roads Welcomes the Susquehanna Ale Trail and Hershey Harrisburg Wine Country

2012 was a big year for both wine and beer in Pennsylvania!

The Susquehanna Ale Trail opened this spring to guide travelers through seven breweries, brewpubs and related businesses around the region, celebrating the beer-loving heritage of the Germans who settled PA in the 1700s. The newest addition to the Pennsylvania wine scene, Hershey Harrisburg Wine Country (also a spring addition) invites guests to take in the breathtaking views from 15 award-winning, family-owned wineries situated in the heart of the state’s beautiful rolling hills conveniently located just minutes away from Hershey, the Sweetest Place on Earth, and the state capital of Harrisburg.
