Built in 1951, FirstEnergy® Stadium is the oldest stadium in the Eastern League and has been home to the Reading Fightin Phils™ since its creation in 1967. As a result, they are the oldest team in the Eastern League to play in their original and current city. In addition, this team also has one of the longest affiliations in Minor League Baseball™, having been the Double-A™ affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies™ since 1967. FirstEnergy® Stadium has been awarded many honors including ranking third among the Best Ballparks in the Minor Leagues by USA Today, as well as being recognized as one of the Top 100 Stadium Experiences in North America by Stadium Journey.
