Fairfield, PA
Region: Dutch Country Roads
Fairfield has something for just about everyone! The town is rich in history; it was located on the Confederate retreat route as General Robert E. Lee's troops left Gettysburg. It is also home to Jack's Mountain Bridge, a Burr-truss covered bridge built in 1894 that is the only one of its type still used in the area. Fairfield is best known for its annual Pennsylvania Lavender Festival, held every June.
