How to Submit Your Event to the Visit PA Events Calendar

• To be considered on Visit PA's event calendar, all events must be submitted through the events submission form.
• Only events with confirmed beginning and end dates will be accepted.

Event Eligibility Requirements

Events must be hosted in Pennsylvania, should attract visitors from outside the local area (more than 50 mile radius), and be open to the public.

Types of events we do not approve include:

• Fundraisers/Galas
• Discount Codes
• Local community gatherings (storytimes, book clubs, community 5ks, etc.)
• Church events
• Conferences/seminars
• Workshops/Classes
• Virtual events

• Descriptions must be 500 words or less.
• Visit PA reserves the right to revise or reject any listing that lacks a clear, engaging description.
• Event submissions must have a valid URL or social media handle linked to be considered for approval.
• At least one photo must be submitted with an event.

• Image size recommendations include a minimum size of 900 x 600 pixels and accepted formats: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif.

How to Get Your Business Listed

To be considered for a business listing on VisitPA.com, please complete our Contact Us form. Business listing approvals will take up to 10 days.

Business Listing Submission Guidelines

Pennsylvania attractions and venues should appeal to leisure travelers from outside the immediate area (preferably more than a 50‑mile radius) and be tourism‑focused.

All businesses must be open to the public and have regular hours (e.g., open a minimum of 4 days per week, including at least one Saturday or Sunday).

Businesses can only be listed using their official Doing Business As (DBA) name.

Types of listings that will not be approved:
• Business franchises (e.g., McDonald’s, Escape Rooms, Jersey Mike’s)
• Businesses that are appointment‑only

No coupons or discounts will be allowed on individual business listings.

Business Listing Submission Requirements

• Descriptions must be 500 words or less and written in the third person.
• Visit PA reserves the right to revise or reject any listing that lacks a clear, engaging description.​
• The destination must have a valid URL or social media handle linked to be considered for approval.
• At least one photo must be submitted to support a business listing (maximum of three photos).
• Listings should only be deactivated if an accommodation or attraction no longer meets VisitPA’s listing guidelines or is no longer in business.
• Deactivations for any other reason must receive written approval from the Visit PA team at ra-dctourism@pa.gov.
