Pennsylvania Ski Areas

Test the PA powder. Both the Allegheny and Pocono Mountain ranges provide ideal terrain for downhill skiing in Pennsylvania.

An added bonus of skiing in our more temperate state is that many slopes are lighted and remain open after nightfall, so a weeknight run can revive even the work-weary.

The Laurel Mountain Ski Resort is working with the DCNR to revive the resort on state park land.

Liberty Mountain Ski Resort has a large, flat area for children to learn to ski and also provides a daycare for when grownups want a solo run.

Don't forget the slopes on state park lands, too. The mountain bikers at Blue Knob All Seasons Resort in Blue Knob State Park make way for the skiers checking out the groomed slopes.

There's also Camelback Mountain Resort at Big Pocono State Park and Ski Denton at Denton Hill State Park

Ski Roundtop Resort attracts visitors to their year-round resort, featuring a snowboard park, tubing an a great Learn to Ski Program.
