In Pursuit: Artists’ Perspectives on a Nation features sculptures and large-scale installations by seven internationally acclaimed artists displayed throughout the National Liberty Museum. In Pursuit serves as a form of civic dialogue, delving into the rich complexity of the American story while acknowledging the many perspectives and journeys that have shaped it. The exhibition is a reflection on a nation that is continuously shaped and enriched by its people, inviting viewers to imagine a shared future that honors the sanctity of one and dignity of all.

Calling all Padawans and Sith Lords: Join us for an Unforgettable Artistic Odyssey! Step into the Star Wars art universe and experience the force at our 1st ever Star Wars Art Show! For generations George Lucas’ paragon has captivated a multitude of fans, while creatives have used characters and concepts as their muses. Artists from galaxies far and wide will be showcasing their out of this world original works of art.

With artistic backgrounds and the world around us for a muse, we are connected by names that start with “M”, Motherhood, Springfield Township and a love for “Making Marks”. Mark making describes the different lines, dots, marks, patterns, and textures we create in an artwork. It can be loose and gestural or controlled and neat. It can apply to any material used on any surface: paint on canvas, ink or pencil on paper, a scratched mark on plaster, a digital paint tool on a screen, a tattooed mark on skin…even a sound can be a form of mark making.

Join the American Swedish Historical Museum (ASHM) for this fundraising dinner to celebrate our 2024 Outstanding Achievement Award Honoree, chef Ulrika Bengtsson. Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and a three-course dinner by Jeffery A. Miller Catering. The Spring Ting Dinner and Auction raises critical funding for exhibitions and educational programs at ASHM. The dinner will also feature remarks from the Swedish Ambassador to the United States, Urban Ahlin.
