The James A. Michener Art Museum is pleased to present Judith Schaechter: Super/Natural on view in our Beans Gallery from April 12, 2025 – September 14, 2025. This will be the first public exhibition of glass artist Judith Schaechter’s newest, monumental work: an immersive stained glass dome, also titled Super/Natural, that explores the idea of biophilia, the human tendency to connect with nature.

This exhibition, curated by NMUSN, explores the production of American naval ships in the Delaware Valley, tracing the roles which the people of Philadelphia and the surrounding areas had in developing America’s Navy over the past 250 years.

Best Fest!
The Wilder Museum will host Best Fest! on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 11 AM – 5 PM. Admission to the museum will be free all day—but the fun only begins there. Vendors will sell their crafts and wares on the museum lawn. The Allegheny Jammers will regale visitors with music in the “old time” tradition of Scotland, Ireland, and Appalachia. The DAR will host a children’s coloring/drawing contest to celebrate America’s upcoming 250th birthday.

The Wilder Museum of Warren County History invites you to celebrate the 1900’s chic and cheesy styles at the “Twentieth Century Fashion: Fabulous or Faux Pas?” Fashion Flaunt fundraiser on Wednesday, June 11 from 6:00-8:30 PM at 51 Erie Ave., Irvine, PA. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and fancy beverages while local models parade the runway, showcasing a collection of vintage clothing that will make you sigh with envy or shudder with embarrassment. The event will include a decade-by-decade display of vintage styles from the Warren County Historical Society’s textiles collection.

Join The Clay Studio for a conversation with longtime artist and advocate Michael Biello about his practice and new solo exhibition, “holy.body,” a continuation of his life-long exploration of male intimacy and queer spirit. Michael Biello is an interdisciplinary artist who draws inspiration from his Italian American roots, his passion for theatre, and his longtime commitment to LGBTQ+ cultural activism. Biello is one of the artists/makers who helped create the revivals of Old City Philadelphia in the 1970’s and Noho New York in the 1990’s.

Second Saturdays at Cliveden
Cliveden offers free tours of the house and grounds every second Saturday of the month, May to October, part of the Second Saturdays at Cliveden programming. Tours begin in the Cliveden Barn and run from 12pm to 4pm, starting on the hour. The last tour of the day is at 3pm. Tours include the grounds, first and second floors of the house, the 1767 Kitchen Dependency, and our current exhibit, The Turmoil of Transition: The mid-nineteenth century at Cliveden.
