The Clay Studio Presents: Clay and Conversations with Michael Biello
Join The Clay Studio for a conversation with longtime artist and advocate Michael Biello about his practice and new solo exhibition, “holy.body,” a continuation of his life-long exploration of male intimacy and queer spirit. Michael Biello is an interdisciplinary artist who draws inspiration from his Italian American roots, his passion for theatre, and his longtime commitment to LGBTQ+ cultural activism. Biello is one of the artists/makers who helped create the revivals of Old City Philadelphia in the 1970’s and Noho New York in the 1990’s.

Second Saturdays at Cliveden
Cliveden offers free tours of the house and grounds every second Saturday of the month, May to October, part of the Second Saturdays at Cliveden programming. Tours begin in the Cliveden Barn and run from 12pm to 4pm, starting on the hour. The last tour of the day is at 3pm. Tours include the grounds, first and second floors of the house, the 1767 Kitchen Dependency, and our current exhibit, The Turmoil of Transition: The mid-nineteenth century at Cliveden.

Spotlight Tour: Cliveden Property Walking Tour
Explore the historic boundaries of the Cliveden property and how the property has changed over 200 years. The tour will take approximately an hour and a half and cover 1.5 miles. There will be times to stop and sit during the walk. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring a drink if needed. Advanced registration is available through our website. General admission is $20; $10 for residents in the 19119 and 19144 zip codes.

Women of the House Tours
Historic Trappe is proud to offer another installment of our popular new tour "Women of House," focusing on the lives, work, and sacrifice of all the women who made the Muhlenberg House function. Join us as we tell the stories of not only the Muhlenberg women but also the indentured and enslaved laborers who lived and worked alongside them. Learn about women's responsibilities and roles within the Muhlenberg household while seeing firsthand the rooms and objects owned by the family. Advance registration is required. Each tour is limited to 8 people.

SEAMAAC teaching artists from the exhibit will guide visitors in collaborative art projects in the ASHM galleries, and vendors from FDR Park’s Southeast Asian Market will sell food and goods on the Museum Terrace.
