Please join JFS as we celebrate our 7th Annual Community Matters Event which honors outstanding leaders who have made a difference in our community. Past honorees include James and Susan Connors, Morey and Sondra Myers, Jane Oppenheim, Louis and Barbara Nivert, Natalie Gelb, and Dr. Margaret Sheldon. Our 2025 honoree is Jim Alperin. Tickets for the event are $125 and include full kosher dinner stations as well as a cash bar. We will have entertainment by Doug Smith. A presentation will be held honoring Mr. Alperin with coffee and dessert afterward.

Dish it Up! is an annual food-tasting competition that features award-winning Philadelphia women chefs. The competition fundraises in support of ending domestic violence and providing support and resources to victims of domestic violence.

State Street is closed from Broad to Center Streets from 5pm to 10pm every Third Thursday from May through October. Festivities begin at 5:30pm.
