Milton, PA
Region: Valleys of the Susquehanna
Located along the banks of the beautiful Susquehanna River, Milton was first settled in the late 18th century. It has a strong industrial heritage, which is brought to life along with other elements of its history on the murals painted on the exteriors of its buildings. Take the Historic Downtown Walking Tour to learn more about the history that inspired the murals and more, or visit one of the many historic homes, churches and commercial buildings in the area. Lincoln Park holds many local events and community gatherings and nearby Milton State Park has trails and picnic areas from where one can watch the migrating songbirds and waterfowl.
