Curwensville, PA
Region: Pennsylvania Wilds
Curwensville is a small town located in Clearfield County nestled among the Allegheny Mts and along the West Branch of the Susquehanna River. It is about 20 minutes from I-80. We have numerous outdoor activities available such as hunting wild turkey, whitetail deer, bear, and coyote; water skiing, fishing, picnicking, and boating at the Curwensville Lake; kayaking, fishing and canoeing on the West Branch of the Susquehanna River; bicycling and hiking the Rails to Trails located between Grampian and Clearfield and special festivals and events in nearby communities to enjoy. A delightful tea house called "The Strawberry Tree" is located in town and various antique and country shops are in the area.
