Largely an Amish and Mennonite community with farmers' market, produce auctions, a large museum, festivals, a local store over 100 years old, and many Amish business sites. Springs is located on the PA/MD border in southern Somerset County. Outdoor hiking trails are bountiful at the Forbes State Forest.
