Built in 1870, the Market House, which has been in business for more than 155 years, is busy year-round, offering a variety of products including fresh baked goods, candies, homemade pasta, coffees, maple sugar products, and crafts.

Broad Street Market

Harrisburg
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places as one of the oldest continuously operated market houses in the country, Harrisburg’s Broad Street Market was founded in 1860 and used to feed Civil War troops training at nearby Camp Curtin. Although a horrific fire struck the historic market in summer of 2023, the building is being restored, but visitors can still browse a variety of more than 20 vendors in a portion of the building in addition to a tent that stands parallel to the original brick building.

Easton Farmers’ Market

This charming Downtown State College Farmers Market is located in downtown State College right across from the Penn State's main campus. The market is held every Friday from May through November, with all vendors selling only the products they produce or grow, offering freshness, high quality, reasonable prices, and convenience. The market is open on Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. until the end of November.

Warren Farmers Market

For the past 50 years, local gardeners, bakers, horticulturalists, beekeepers, meat suppliers, and home preservers have been offering their wares at the Warren Farmer’s Market. The market in Northwestern Pennsylvania runs on Saturdays from June through October from 8 a.m. until noon and gets bigger and better each year with local vegetables, fruits, baked goods, canned goods, pork, beef, goat, chicken, eggs, flowers, and even bison meat.

The Green Dragon Farmers Market

Every Friday morning since 1932, The Green Dragon Farmers Market has brought the ultimate farmers market experience year-round to the small country town of Ephrata in Lancaster County. Today, with more than 400 local growers, merchants, and craftsmen, it is known as one of the largest farmers markets in the area. The Green Dragon offers both indoor and outdoor shopping and is located on a 30-acre site in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country.
