Before the All-Star festivities swing into full gear, Citizens Bank Park plays host to one of the most meaningful games of the week. Fifty of the top Division I HBCU baseball players, hand-selected by a committee that includes Ken Griffey Jr., will take the field for the HBCU Swingman Classic on Friday. The game showcases the deep talent pipeline running through historically Black colleges and universities and is a rare chance to watch future pros before they hit the big leagues.
