5. KENNETT SQUARE MUSHROOM FESTIVAL
It’s that time of year to celebrate all things mushrooms at the iconic Kennett Square Mushroom Festival! If you didn’t already know, Kennett Square is the Mushroom Capital of the World and that will become apparent after you attend this two-day event. Participate in a Mushroom ‘Chopped’ Contest, watch a cooking demonstration with this year’s celebrity chef, Carla Hall, learn about the magic of mushroom growth, and do not miss the fried mushroom eating contest. 6. WILD WIND FOLK ART & CRAFT FESTIVAL
Since 1980, the Wild Wind Folk Arts and Craft Festival has celebrated a diverse group of artists selected for their originality and craftsmanship. Kick off fall and immerse yourself in the beautiful work of more than 150 artisans and their work ranging from pottery to paintings to pinecone designs. The festival will have activities for kids, live music, and food concessions.
