Join us for a 3-day Glaze Workshop with a true master in the field of ceramics -John Britt. We will discuss all things glazes, including a general overview of ceramic glazes, focusing on but not limited to cone 6 glazes. He’ll also have glazed pots for viewing. We will discuss temperature, kilns, and firing dynamics. John will share information about different firing cycles.

The Idol Kings, one of the best tribute bands performing today, have been playing music together for more than two decades. The band performs tributes to two of classic rock’s most iconic bands: Journey and REO Speedwagon, combining spot-on recreations of your favorite songs with costume changes and absolutely terrible jokes. The Idol Kings are Michael Crow, John Carpenetti, Ryan Wanko, Frank Gruden and Honesdale native Tom Theobald.

We are happy to have the 2020 INTERNATIONAL BLUEGRASS MUSIC ASSOCIATION MOMENTUM BAND AWARD FINALIST return to Wildflower this summer. Bridging the divide between traditional bluegrass played by the Del McCoury Band and the Lonesome River Band and progressive bluegrass done by the Punch Brothers and Billy Strings, Colebrook Road creates new enthusiasts for bluegrass while expanding the definition of the genre. Colebrook Road is made up of Jesse Eisenbise, Jeff Campbell, Wade Yankey, Joe McAnulty and Mark Rast.

Nichelle Lewis, a 24 year old Virginia native, recently starred as Sarah in the acclaimed Ragtime at City Center. Her Broadway performance as Dorothy in the revival of The Wiz earned a 2024 Theater World Award for Outstanding Broadway Debut. Her previous credits include Little Shop of Horrors and the national tours of Hairspray and Labelless. Nichelle will perform memorable vocals from her career, gospel and soul favorites as well as a few originals.

Boat House Row, a yacht rock experience like no other, has been playing to sold out crowds up and down the East Coast. The band features Caniche Derstine, Riley Hamlin, Mick Hillside, Pete Mane, Kenny Trout and Cougar Wessex. The term yacht rock refers to the highly polished brand of soft rock that emanated from Southern California between 1976 and 1984. Notable ‘yacht rockers’ include Hall & Oates, Michael McDonald, Loggins & Messina, Christopher Cross, Steely Dan, Toto, Little River Band among others.

FREE COMMUNITY EVENT – The Sherman Theater presents the 18th annual Labor Day Festival on Saturday, August 30th from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM! Craft, retail, food and beverage vendors will line the sidewalks on Main Street from 5th to 9th Street, featuring a food court in Courthouse Square, complementing dozens of eclectic shops and restaurants downtown. There will be live music at multiple stages throughout the day, and lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy!
