Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival’s “Play On!” Community Tour brings free performances of William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing to libraries, parks, and community centers all over the region. With a zest for love and a love of life, Shakespeare’s spirited comedy offers a tale of two courtships. Beatrice and Benedick elevate the art of the quarrel in their duel of glittering wordplay, while Claudio and Hero have their true love put to the test. Dastardly villains are challenged by comical officers, as honor and desire collide to create much ado about laughter and love. Ages 6+.

The Old Bethlehem Walking tour shares the 280-plus-year history of Bethlehem’s unique beginnings starting in the early 1740s. On this approximately 90-minute tour through the Moravian Church Settlements – Bethlehem World Heritage site, you’ll stop at the 1741 First House and Gemeinhaus, 1750/61 Smithy, 1762 Waterworks, 1748 Single Brethren’s House, 1744/52 Single Sisters’ House, and the 1768 Widows’ House as you discover how Bethlehem’s earliest residents not only lived but flourished.

On the Rise and Fall of Bethlehem Steel Walking Tour learn about Bethlehem Steel which was once the second largest steel producer in the country, helped build some of America’s greatest landmarks — including the Golden Gate Bridge and the Chrysler Building. Discover the humble beginnings, monumental growth, and humbling decline of this 20th-century giant. The 90-minute walking tour features up-close views of the former steel plant and an in-depth look at the steel-making process and the roles the workers played in our country’s history.
