Sesame Place’s 45th Birthday Celebration will officially kick off on Saturday, April 26th and we’ll have furry birthday fun all spring and summer long! The park will be adorned with colorful garland, bright balloons, fabulous birthday presents and more fun décor. The fantastic, NEW Sesame Street Birthday Parade makes its debut and this colorful and musical parade will get the whole family dancing with contemporary and classic Sesame Street tunes, show-stopping performances, and an interactive birthday song.

The popular Third Thursdays on State Street return in 2025 for a new season of outdoor dining, extended shopping hours, live music, and family-friendly activities. Third Thursdays bring the community together and support restaurants and small businesses on State Street. State Street is closed from Broad to Center Streets from 5pm to 10pm every Third Thursday from May through October. Festivities begin at 5:30pm. To ensure an outdoor table, we recommend making a reservation directly with your restaurant of choice.
