Pennsylvania’s largest outdoor canna festival returns to the West End Fairgrounds! The highly anticipated Pocono Canna World Fair is set to take place at the West End Fairgrounds in Gilbert, PA, on July 26th and 27th, 2025! This exciting event is open to the public from 10am to 6pm on both Saturday and Sunday, offering a weekend filled with fun, education, and entertainment for the entire family. With over 325 vendors in attendance, the Pocono Canna World Fair promises to be the premier destination for canna enthusiasts.

Looking for an evening out with friends, or just a crafty night by yourself? Join us for an evening with Paint and Enjoy at Nissley Vineyards. Graphic Designer and Artist, Connie Higgins, will lead you step-by-step through the process of creating a masterpiece you will be proud of. Grab your friends and unleash your inner artist as you experience the art of Sea Glass - with over 30 designs to choose from and select your own colors! Sip on your favorite Nissley wines while creating this masterpiece.

In this unique workshop, you will enjoy a basic glass-blowing experience. Join us as we create a red, white & blue wine sampler/bud vase! It is a perfect patriotic experience and fun class for beginners. Your instructor, Michael Peluso, brings 20 years of experience and knowledge to help you experience the wonders of this 2,000-year-old craft. Start with a complimentary Nissley wine flight (age 21+). Wine by the glass and bottle, as well as light snacks, will be available for purchase during the workshop. You are welcome to bring your own food and outside non-alcoholic beverages.

Get ready for Blobfest at The Colonial Theatre on July 11th to 13th! The excitement kicks off with a Friday Night Stage show hosted by Aurora Gorealis, featuring live music and a short film contest. Then stick around for the iconic run-out and dance the night away at the Blob Ball, a 1950s rock n' roll inspired event. Saturday consists of a free street fair packed with vendors, live bands, and costume contests, special Blob screening and second run-out on!

Arrive at our Private Venue were our *NEW* BOXCAR STAGE sits, to enjoy a Murder Mystery show by Tony Lou Productions and a buffet dinner Catered by Sidel's. Wine and Beer are available for purchase from local licensed vendors!

Please join JFS as we celebrate our 7th Annual Community Matters Event which honors outstanding leaders who have made a difference in our community. Past honorees include James and Susan Connors, Morey and Sondra Myers, Jane Oppenheim, Louis and Barbara Nivert, Natalie Gelb, and Dr. Margaret Sheldon. Our 2025 honoree is Jim Alperin. Tickets for the event are $125 and include full kosher dinner stations as well as a cash bar. We will have entertainment by Doug Smith. A presentation will be held honoring Mr. Alperin with coffee and dessert afterward.

Curious Histories Fest returns! The Science History Institute is hosting its third annual celebration of science, history, exploration, and experimentation. This free, daylong event features hands-on activities and family-friendly fun, as well as exciting talks, tours, and highlights from our special collections. Come enjoy some free ice cream, then visit our museum; talk to curators and experts; take part in performances, story times, and special events; and immerse yourself in curiosity! Plus, the first 100 visitors will receive a free Lunchtime lunchbox!

Historic Rock Ford welcomes the Ephrata Chamber Ensemble for “Baroque on the Piazza” at the General Edward Hand Mansion for an outdoor evening filled with the sounds of historic Baroque chamber music. The ensemble will be presenting Vivaldi's Double Trumpet Concerto in C Major, as well as works by Handel, Telemann, Corelli, and J.S. Bach. The event opens at 6 PM and the music will begin at 6:30 PM. There will be a short intermission. Seating location is on a first-come basis.
