The Baker Trail is a 140-mile trail in western Pennsylvania extending from Freeport to the Allegheny National Forest. The Baker Trail was built and is being maintained by Pittsburgh Council of American Youth Hostels and by dedicated volunteers. This hiking trail follows forest paths, old jeep trails and dirt roads, through woods and farmlands and is marked by yellow blazes. There are campsites along the trail.
