Region: Pennsylvania Wilds

Leonard Harrison is situated on one side of Pine Creek Gorge, known as the “Pennsylvania Grand Canyon.” The views at this park are spectacular: in fall, the deciduous trees turn vibrant shades of red, yellow, and orange.  Those that are colorblind can enjoy the vibrant colors with easy accessible color-correcting viewfinders. Seasonal whitewater rafting excursions are offered in Pine Creek, which flows through the gorge. Visitors are also invited to hike, hunt, and fish in addition to simply exploring the natural beauty.
