Located on the campus of Penn State University, Medlar Field at Lubrano Park is a one-of-a-kind minor league facility. Medlar Field, which held its first game in 2006, is the first baseball stadium in the world to be certified by the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) ®. In addition, the State College Spikes™, a Class A Short Season™ affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals™, share their home with Penn State’s varsity baseball team. This partnership is believed to be the first of its kind in the U.S.
