William Marvel’s presentation will follow the short sine-wave of Confederate morale in the wake of Gettysburg, Vicksburg and Missionary Ridge, and examine the recovery and persistence of that morale in 1864. William Marvel lives in New England and is an independent scholar who is currently working on his 21st book. His writings have won some of the most prestigious awards in the historical field, including the Lincoln Prize, the Douglas Southall Freeman Award and the Malcolm Bell, Jr. and Muriel Barrow Bell Award. Book Signing | 6-6:45 p.m. and 8-8:30 p.m. William Marvel will sign his works before and after his talk presentation.
