The annual Odunde Festival is back for its landmark 50th year with a week of events — inspired by Yoruba pilgrimages to Nigeria — from June 1 to 7, 2025.
The golden anniversary culminates with North America’s largest Black and African cultural street festival on Sunday, June 8, 2025, filling 16 South Philly blocks with over 500,000 attendees enjoying over 100 marketplace vendors, authentic African, Caribbean and soul food, two stages of live performances, and a procession to the Schuylkill River with offerings of fruit and flowers.
