Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish will hold its summer festival June 19-21, rain or shine, on the parish grounds in Middletown, Pa. The festival runs from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. nightly including a flea market, cash raffle, basket raffle, bingo, jewelry extravaganza, plant stand, and games for all ages.
Patrons can sit indoors and enjoy great homemade meals of halupki, pierogies, haluski, a roast beef dinner, and baked goods in the cafeteria each night. Outside food includes Schmidt’s sausage, gourmet chicken cheese steaks, chicken tenders, seasoned fries, and more, including funnel cakes. Friday and Saturday only: Farm Show milkshakes.
Live entertainment 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.! Thursday: Ben Simcox; Friday: singer/songwriter Christopher Wilson; Saturday: Crossing Abbey Road. Friday and Saturday nights also feature fun for kids with a 60-foot long, two-lane obstacle course with a seventeen-foot slide and bounce house.
