Encounters with History: Paint Like a President

Join us for history, art and hands-on creativity to explore President Dwight D. Eisenhower's legacy as a statesman and an artist in this Encounters with History series event. A Gettysburg resident, President Eisenhower was known to paint in his free time to relax. Enjoy a 30-minute free presentation highlighting President Eisenhower's artistic passion, stories behind his works and history with an Eisenhower National Historic Site Ranger. Then, ticketholders will participate in a paint night experience focused on one of President Eisenhower's paintings. Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar are offered as part of the paint night portion of the experience. The opening Ranger Program is free and open to the public. Catering by Battlegrounds Hospitality.
