The Community Philosophy Circle is honored to launch its Symposium Speaker Series with featured speaker Dr. Jamie Phillips, Professor of Philosophy at PennWest Clarion. His talk will explore Aristotelian ethics and the theory of the meaning of life through the lens of Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics. DR. PHILLIPS is one of the region’s most respected philosophy educators. Now, he brings his insight to our town for a special evening at the National Transit Building in Oil City, PA. Doors open at 6:30 PM for a light reception. Talk begins at 7:00 PM, followed by Q&A and conversation. EVENTS LIKE THIS usually happen only on college campuses or in big cities.
