Enjoy the sweet sounds of ragtime and jazz music at America’s oldest operating narrow gauge railroad. The East Broad Top Railroad is once again partnering with the Central Pennsylvania Ragtime and American Music Festival to bring the sweet sounds of jazz, ragtime and the blues to Rockhill Furnace! From live performances on the platform to a dinner train and concert experience at Colgate Grove… there is a musical experience for everyone! Nowhere else in the country can you enjoy performances from Grammy award-winning ragtime musicians while experiencing such rich industrial history. This year’s featured musicians include pianists Adam Swanson, Martin Spitznagel, Bryan Wright, and Andrew Greene; banjo and cornetist T.J. Muller, clarinetist/saxophonist Dan Levinson, and Grammy Award-winning drummer Danny Coots. Free activities include music on the train platform and antique phonograph demonstrations. Ticketed activities include strolling train musicians, American music concerts, silent-movies at the train station with live musical accompaniment, and a popular dinner train and concert.
