The George Spangler Farm witnessed the arrival and treatment of nearly 2,000 wounded soldiers during and following the Battle of Gettysburg. A vast majority of these men were able to survive their wounds. During this special program, you'll come "face to face" with a single tent of eight young men, some of whom survived and others who made the ultimate sacrifice. Explore these men's stories. Learn where they came from. Hear their experiences at Gettysburg. Find out about their lives following the battle. The medical staff and caregivers who worked to save the lives of these men and others will be part of the compelling and moving stories you'll discover at the very site where these solders were treated. Ticket reservations required and now available. Gate opens at 5:30 p.m. for ticket holders to explore the historic site. The program takes place in the restored historic barn.
