Succop Nature Park, of the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania (ASWP), is an environmental and cultural education center for the Butler County community. Located near Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport, Succop Nature Park features ponds, trails, and open natural spaces perfect for a variety of outdoor activities. Several programs are offered at the park through the ASWP, such as the Master Birder program. Coinciding with the spring session of bustling birds, a portion of the Master Birder program takes a closer look at Succop Nature Park's birds and is designed to enhance avian identification skills including sight, sound, and biology.
The Schuylkill River Boardwalk provides breathtaking views of the Philadelphia skyline as you walk or bike the 2,000-foot-long pathway that extends the Schuylkill River Trail, from Locust to South Street. The scenic path allows pedestrians, runners and bicyclists to literally walk over the river to some of the best skyline views around. The over-the-water path is 15 feet wide and includes four scenic overlooks for those who want to relax and take in spectacular waterfront views.

For the ultimate journey, bike the entire 150 miles from Pittsburgh to Cumberland, where the GAP joins the C&O Canal Towpath for a continuous trail experience — 333 miles long — to Washington, D.C.!
