3. Armstrong Farms Bed & Breakfast
Established in 1816, award-winning Armstrong Farms Bed & Breakfast is a seventh-generation Pennsylvania century farm with more than 200 years of history. The B&B comprises different houses and quaint cottages situated on the farm, as well as suites in the nearby historic town of Saxonburg. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city as you immerse yourself in the outdoors. 4. Elk County Elk Farm Bed & Breakfast
Elk County Elk Farm Bed & Breakfast is Elk County’s only working domestic elk farm. Stay in the 1800s remodeled barn for a true farm stay experience while enjoying views that look out onto newborn calves and bulls. Elk County Elk Farm also has homemade elk jerky and snack sticks for sale along with a variety of cuts of elk meat, including steaks and roasts.
5. Fiddle Lake Farm
Family traditions past and present are found throughout Fiddle Lake Farm in the panoramic scenery of the Endless Mountains. The historic B&B offers lakefront property and an onsite organic garden. The 1820s farmhouse is decorated with period antiques complete with a private bath, antique full-size beds, and a king bridal suite. An organic breakfast featuring products grown on the property is served in a formal farmhouse dining room.
6. Horizon View Farms
Horizon View Farms in Rockwood is one of the Laurel Highlands’s most scenic working farms. Perched atop a hill of a 465-acre property, the farm is home to beautiful horses, forests, meadows, and gardens.
