Pennsylvania’s calendar is jam-packed with events and festivals to enjoy all summer long. From music festivals to county fairs and celebrations of the season’s bounty to airshows and even a rodeo, there’s no shortage of fun and adventure to be found all throughout the Keystone State!

2. Endless Mountains Music Festival

Live music performances and stunning scenery will sweep you off your feet at the annual Endless Mountains Music Festival. Bringing live music to stages across PA's northern tier, the festival features classical, jazz, pops, Celtic, choral, blues, piano, tango, and brass performances, including a number of world premieres!

3. WWII Weekend

In honor of Schaefferstown’s heroic men and women who served this nation during World War II, the historic Alexander Schaeffer Farm is once again transformed into a World War II infantry encampment during WWII Weekend. Get a glimpse of what these champions of freedom endured in their battle against tyranny and oppression with the live battle re-enactments, displays, demos, and tours of the bivouac areas,.

4. Jefferson County Fair

The annual Jefferson County Fair has it all – from carnival rides to baking, food, wine, crafts, crop, and livestock competitions to a truck and tractor pull and crowning of the Fair Queen. There is a petting zoo for the kiddos and, of course, lots of great food and fun entertainment for you to enjoy at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds!

5. Jacktown Fair

The Jacktown Fair has been delighting fair-goers for well over 150 years. The fair officially opens with the traditional parade and ends with the King of the Hill Demolition Derby with plenty of fun and entertainment in between, including livestock competitions, games, live music performances, carnival rides, and all your favorite fair foods!

6. Discover Presque Isle

Come celebrate the history and natural beauty of Presque Isle State Park during the annual Discover Presque Isle (DPI). There’s live music on the beach, a sand sculpture competition, giant bonfire, Presque Isle Lighthouse tours, and plenty of recreation and nature awareness activities for the whole family to enjoy.

7. Tuscarora Valley Heritage Days

Celebrate equipment and practices from farming days of old at the Tuscarora Valley Heritage Days festival. While antique tractors and engines are the main attraction, there’s lots of other fun and entertainment including a lumber jack competition, tractor parades, wood carving demonstration, horseshoe tournament, truck tug-o-war, flea market, live music, and a chicken barbecue.

8. Butler Bikes & BBQ

Celebrate motorcycles and the people who ride them at the first ever Butler Bikes & BBQ. The event kicks off with a motorcycle parade through downtown Butler followed by four fun-filled days of bike games and contests, great food, live entertainment, and rides through the scenic backroads and charming towns of Butler County.

9. UMI Autocross Challenge

Enjoy high-octane fun as racers push their vintage, mid-year, late model, and super-late model cars to the limit at the UMI Autocross Challenge. Watch as they navigate the technical sections, elevation changes, and varying configurations of UMI Motorsports Park’s 5/8-mile autocross course – all at high speeds!

10. WPAL Wicked Warrior 2021

Get ready to cheer on your favorite mud warrior at this year’s WPAL Wicked Warrior Mud Run and Obstacle Course at Treasure Lake. Supporting the Western Pennsylvania Athletic League, watch kids and adults navigate the fun and challenging obstacles along the 10k Main Course, 5k Intermediate Course, and Kid’s Obstacle Course with its giant Slip n Slide.

11. York State Fair

Take a ride on the double carousel. Watch a high-dive show. Try some delicious funnel cake, French fries, or ice cream. Welcome to “America’s Oldest Fair,” the York State Fair. This 10-day event will run from July 23 – August 1 and will feature food vendors, concerts, carnival rides, and more.

12. Lebanon Area Fair

There’s something for everyone at the Lebanon Area Fair! Cheer on your favorite farmer competing in the hay bale toss on Farmers Night. Watch truck and tractor pulls, a rodeo, and even a demolition derby. Children’s Day is chock full of events, shows and activities for the younger folk. Be entertained by circus acts and a host of carnival games and rides. If that’s not enough, you can even ride a camel for the ultimate fair experience!

13. EMHR's - The Ricketts Glen Challenge

Enjoy two days of hiking fun in Ricketts Glen State Park during the Endless Mountains Heritage Region’s (EMHR) “The Ricketts Glen Challenge!” Travel solo or with a guided group – your choice, but you must take a photo at the designated scenic overlooks/vistas throughout the park to prove you were up to the challenge!

14. Clarion County Fair

There’s for the whole family at the Clarion County Fair featuring everything from a crafts fair to a demolition derby and KOI Drag Racing, carnival rides, truck and tractor pulls, and a host of shows and live entertainment. You’ll be on the edge of your seat during Johnny Rockett’s Cycle Circus Live with its high-tech pyrotechnics, music, and lighting!

15. Troy Fair

Alparon Park plays host to the 145th Troy Fair for a week of great food, rides, and great music and other entertainment. There are truck and tractor pulls, a demolition derby, and all sorts of displays and exhibits. Even little ones can get in on the action during Bullride Mania with the Little Buckaroo Rodeo’s stick horse race and sheep riding for those age six or younger!

16. Heads Up Style Drag Races

Enjoy the rev of engines and squeal of tires at St. Marys Airport as cars race down the airport runway in Heads Up Style Drag Races. Whoever crosses the finish line first is the winner and entitled to full bragging rights at this “controlled street race on the runway”!

17. Allegheny Mountain Championship Rodeo

It’s a weekend filled with bucking broncos and bulls and all sorts of thrilling PRCA/WPRA-sanctioned rodeo action. 18. Fayette County Fair

Rock out to the oldies with The Fabulous Hubcaps or sit back and enjoy the sounds of some sweet country music and other great music in the line-up of live acts or just come on down for the treats, thrills, and good old-fashioned fun.

19. 11th Annual Rib & Wing Festival at Seven Springs Resort

Enjoy the ultimate in backyard barbecuing at the 11th Annual Rib & Wing Festival presented by Seven Springs Resort! Dig into mouth-watering ribs and wings cooked up fresh by award-winning barbecue chefs from all over the country, then rock out to live musical entertainment and cool off at the beer garden. The Kid’s Zone features plenty of fun for the youngsters!

20. Clearfield County Fair

If you love a classic county fair, the 160th Clearfield County Fair is one you won’t want to miss! Featuring four days of harness racing, a hometown parade, lots of livestock, crop, dairy, and baking competitions, some great live entertainment, truck & tractor pulls, and numerous animals, food, and craft exhibits, one visit is definitely not enough!

21. Portersville Steam Summer Show

Showcasing a wide variety of agriculture practices, equipment, and life in general from decades long past, the Portersville Steam Summer Show features tractor pulls, steam engines, train rides, crafts, a flea market, live demonstrations, and delicious Amish donuts! Be sure to visit the vintage village with its log home, 1880’s machine shops, and other unique buildings.

22. Clarion River Bluegrass Jam Festival

The streets of downtown Clarion come alive with the foot-stomping sounds and feel good rhythm of bluegrass music with three nights of concerts and jam sessions by nearly three dozen local and regional bluegrass artists during the Clarion River Bluegrass Jam Festival. Shop for bluegrass CDs, musical instruments, handmade crafts, and, of course, great food!

23. Moraine State Park Regatta

Celebrate Moraine State Park’s 51st Anniversary at the Moraine State Park Regatta! Along with the sailboat regatta and sailboat rides, the event features numerous workshops, lessons, and outings on kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, and canoeing for water enthusiasts. There’s also plenty for landlubbers to learn and experience from guided hikes to yoga and tai chi, live music, and spectacular fireworks show.

24. 69th Annual Woodsmen Show

Cherry Springs State Park is where all you’ll find all the action for the 69th Annual Woodsmen Show. Watch amateur and professional woodsmen showcase their knowledge and skills in ax throwing, log rolling, tree felling, standing chop, and the one- and two-man buck cross cut. Music and wood carving demos, and delicious food round out the activities.

25. Greene County Fair

The Greene County Fair is a week-long celebration of the county’s farming heritage, with some modern additions! There are livestock competitions for horses, beef cattle, sheep, rabbits, and goats, Hot Farm and Farm Stock Tractor Pulls, and the Draft Horse Halter & Mules Show, but also live music, a demolition derby, carnival rides, and your favorite fair foods guaranteeing a fun time for all!

26. Mifflin County Youth Fair

27. Butler Farm Show

29. Eagles Mere 50th Annual Arts & Crafts Festival

30. Harford Fair

31. Somerset County Fair

The 121th annual Somerset County Fair is one of the largest and best livestock shows in Pennsylvania. Enjoy nightly entertainment in the grandstand or ride a few amusement rides on the midway. You won’t want to miss the Bake Sale Auction with apple pie, angel food cake, and lots of chocolate goodies on the menu or the Rafter Z Rodeo!

32. Pittston Tomato Festival

Who would have thought tomatoes would be such a draw?! The Pittston Tomato Festival is expected to attract upwards of 75,000 people in celebration of this storied fruit. 33. Towanda Riverfest

Now in its 33rd year, join in on the fun at the Towanda Riverfest, Held along the banks of the Susquehanna River on the Merrill Parkway, enjoy a variety of family fun activities, food, crafters, amusement rides, games, and live entertainment. Be sure to bring your blanket or lawn chair Saturday evening because you won’t want to miss the sensational fireworks display, “Fire Over the River”!

34. Elk Expo 2021

Celebrate Pennsylvania’s storied herd of majestic elk at Elk Expo 2021. 35. The Great Pocono Raceway Airshow

Watch amazing precision flying and breath-taking “aerobatics” by the magnificent U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and their F-16 Fighting Falcons at the Great Pocono Raceway Airshow! Then watch the GEICO Skytypers Air Show Team perform precision flight maneuvers in their vintage WWII aircraft. With a show this good, they have to do it twice!

36. Aviation Days

Looking for something to do that’s a bit out of the ordinary? Enjoy a weekend of airplanes and all things aviation at the Greene County Airport during Aviation Days. Featuring plane rides, static displays, aerial demonstrations, and children's attractions, it’s a super fun and educational way to spend the weekend.

37. West End Fair

What started as an agricultural fair more than a century ago has blossomed into so much more! One of the largest and longest-running fairs in the Pocono Mountains, the West End Fair features entertainment galore – from live music and dance performances to antique and garden tractor pulls to the Dirt-a-Rama kart races, and a variety of other competitions. There are games, rides, and all sorts of agricultural and livestock exhibits and competition, as well as fantastic fair foods to enjoy!

38. UMI's King of the Mountain

Watch 120 of the country’s fastest autocross cars and best drivers do battle in their quest to be crowned King of the Mountain. Cars from the event’s four classes (Super Late, Late, Mid-Muscle, and Vintage) first compete to win a coveted spot for the final 32-car shootout. When the smoke clears there will be four class champions, but only one King of the Mountain!

39. Wally Lake Fest

Summertime fun lasts a bit longer at Wally Lake Fest. The entire area around Lake Wallenpaupack is filled with fun events and activities. The area’s shops and towns go all out featuring great food and entertainment, tours, fun shopping – including an Artisan Craft Fair at the Hawley Silk Mill, and activities for all ages.

40. Mars Exploration Celebration

41. Greene Dreher Sterling Fair

Held on the GDS Fairgrounds, this annual, late-summer fair features games, music, rides, agricultural exhibits, demolition derbies, a rodeo and tractor pull, and special appearances by the fair's official mascot, Connie the Cow!
