1. Linvilla Orchards’ Pumpkinland

An annual trip to Linvilla Orchards’ Pumpkinland to find the perfect carving pumpkin has been a tradition for many Delaware Valley families for generations. 3. Goose Day Celebrations

Legend has it that if you eat goose on Sept. 29, you’ll ensure wealth and prosperity for the coming year.

4. Autumn Leaf Festival

Celebrate the season’s changing colors at the 69th Annual Allegheny Toyota Autumn Leaf Festival. The nine-day international, award-winning festival attracts more than 500,000 enthusiastic attendees to partake in events and entertainment including the “Autorama Cruise-In,” the “Antiques Tractor Show,” and Kronospan U.S.A. “Farmer’s and Crafter’s Show.”

5. Miss Morgan’s Antique and Artisan Show

6. Oktoberfest 2022

Located in a town rich in Pennsylvania Dutch culture, Mifflinburg’s Oktoberfest 2022 is a time to raise your beer steins in celebration of the arrival of autumn. Enjoy beer imported from Germany or brewed a few blocks away at Rusty Rail Brewing Co. and then dance the Pennsylvania polka while one of several oompah bands perform. The festival also features wine, games, German and American food, keg tossing, mug lifting, and traditional German dancing while celebrating PA’s love for craft and German beer.

7. Oktoberfest in Lehigh Valley

9. Okto’bear’fest Extravabandza

10. Delco Arts Week

Enjoy nine days celebrating and showcasing the creative artists and vibrant cultural institutions of Delaware County at Delco Arts Week. 11. Eerie Horror Festival

12. Covered Bridge & Arts Festival

Located at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds, the Covered Bridge & Arts Festival is one of the largest craft fairs on the East Coast! Celebrating 40 years, the four-day event features more than 320 craft vendors selling unique finds such as glass prints, jewelry, photography, seasonal pottery decor, and new and repurposed primitives. 13. Annual Lumberjack Carving Competition & Festival

You “wood” not want to miss the 41st Annual Lumberjack Carving Competition & Festival at the Forksville Fairgrounds! Watch local lumberjacks put their skills to the test with carving, axe throwing, and Jack-N-Jill crosscut sawing competitions while attendees can enjoy crafts, food, a quilt show and sale, kids activities, and a carving auction.

14. Harvest Days

After two years, Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum’s oldest and largest event, the annual Harvest Days, is back and better than ever! Celebrate a traditional PA German harvest with cooking and craft demonstrations, horse-drawn wagon rides, a pick-your-own pumpkin patch, live music, delicious PA Dutch food, and plenty of hands-on activities. 15. Fort Ligonier Days

The three-day Fort Ligonier Days event commemorates a key battle of the French & Indian War by featuring historic battle reenactments, top-rated juried crafts, delicious foods, live musical entertainment, weekend-long wine tastings, and a can’t-miss grand parade on Saturday. Participate in a variety of activities found on the beautiful Ligionier Diamond, throughout the historic town, and the reconstructed Fort Ligonier and its world-class, recently renovated museum against a fall foliage-filled backdrop.

17. The Great Pumpkin Carve

Attend one of Chadds Ford’s traditions at The Great Pumpkin Carve, where more than 70 giant pumpkins are carved by local artists on Thursday and lighted and displayed on Friday and Saturday. For all three nights, enjoy a kid-friendly haunted trail, raffle prizes, and live music.

18. PA Bacon Fest

Celebrate your love of cured meats with more than 100 vendors, more than 15 musical acts, and two days of all things bacon at this festival made for the ultimate foodie.
