The Historical Society of Dauphin County's Mission is to collect, preserve, exhibit, publish, and promote interest in the history of Dauphin County for the education, enjoyment and benefit of the public. The society operates the John Harris/Simon Cameron Mansion Museum, the Alexander Family History Library (both genealogical and local history research capability) and has extensive photograph and manuscript archives.
