TRANSCENDENCE The Essence of Spring Concert

TRANSCENDENCE, Erie’s first all professional chorus, will close its premiere season with The Essence of Spring. Dedicated to providing musical excellence to Erie, PA and the surrounding communities, Transcendence, will embrace the emergence of Spring with new compositions by Richard Robert Rossi as well as sacred and secular works by notorious composers including: Monteverdi, Bruckner, Stanford, Memley & Moses Hogan. Under the auspices of Saint Peter Cathedral, the main mission and vision of Transcendence is to present professional choral performances that inspire, cultivate, and transform lives through vocal artistry and musical excellence. Additionally, we provide these concerts free to the public as a way of fostering a long-standing tradition since the Middle Ages when Cathedrals offered such concerts to the public. Providing free admission to the public will also provide a way to reach so many who would not be able to experience a live professional performance due to their financial and economic constraints.
