Bach’s stunning “St. John Passion” with Messiah’s Chamber Singers, the Schola Sancti Gregorii from St. Lawrence Cathedral, and orchestra. This emotive setting of the passion story il - luminates Jesus’ humanity and divinity through Bach’s genius writing and devout theological convictions. Compositional symmetry, symbol - ism, complex harmonies, poignant chorale settings and passionate performers narrate the most profound story ever told.
