Serene Green

Serene Green is a traditional bluegrass band featuring Pennsylvania natives Quentin Fisher, Michael Johnson, Steve Leonard, Shane McGeehan, and Maryland-born fiddle state champion, Katelynn Casper. Serene Green’s desire is to honor the traditional side of bluegrass demonstrated by the pioneers of the music, while also showcasing its original compositions and uniqueness. Since the band’s inception in 2017, Serene Green has played in over twenty of the United States, performed at countless festivals and venues, and released two studio albums, Have at It and To Whom It Pertains, with its third on the way. Serene Green has toured extensively throughout the United States, sharing stages with many nationally- and internationally-touring bands and artists, including The Del McCoury Band, The Seldom Scene, The Infamous Stringdusters, Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, David Bromberg, Dan Tyminski Band, Sideline, Railroad Earth, and Cabinet, among many others. The band has become an instant favorite at numerous music festivals, winning over audiences at DelFest, Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival, The Peach Music Festival, NEPA Bluegrass Festival, Musikfest, Watermelon Pickers’ Festival, Wind Gap Bluegrass Festival, and Podunk Bluegrass Festival where the band was voted winner of the band competition in 2022.
