Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens presents Everything But the Kitchen Sink Mosaic Workshop

Join Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens (PMG) for Everything But the Kitchen Sink Mosaic Workshop, a two-hour workshop led by the PMG education team exploring techniques used by PMG creator Isaiah Zagar. Known for his unique and, some say, liberating method for creating mosaics, participants will examine Zagar murals, prepare and create materials, and make their own mosaic. In this workshop, guests learn how to cut glass, break tile, mix grout, and lay out a small 9″ x 9″ mosaic to take home. The program empowers participants with mosaic-making skills and inspiration for future endeavors. Please be aware that the working space can only be accessed by stairs. This workshop is open to participants ages 12+, but all participants under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult participant.
