The Wilder Museum of Warren County History will host a special National Forge Open House on Wednesday, September 25, from 6:00-8:00 PM. The event is free and open to the public. Robert O. Wilder, chairman of the board for the National Forge Company, established a museum to house company and local artifacts in memory of his father Clinton Wilder, the company founder. After Robert Wilder’s passing in 1995, the museum was gifted to the Warren County Historical Society. Today the museum houses over 4,000 artifacts of local historical significance. Donations are welcome, with all proceeds benefiting the Wilder Museum. For more information, please call (814) 723-1795, visit warrenhistory.org or like the Wilder Museum’s Facebook page. The museum’s fall hours are Friday and Saturday from 1:00-5:00 PM.
