Mushroom & Meditation Hike (Women Only)

Explore spores and self-care during this unique, women’s only outdoor event on Sunday, September 24 at 1:00pm sponsored by Wild Women NEPA. We’ll start by meeting at Ski Shack in Moosic before heading up Montage Mountain Road to the Ore Mine Road trail where Dannielle, from Connected Fungirl Wellness, will lead us on a hike identifying local mushrooms and describing their edible and medicinal uses before being guided through a relaxing meditation by Melissa and Kailin. Warm chaga mushroom tea will be provided for all attendees as well as reishi and chaga lip balm and mushroom identification worksheets to take home. This event will be held rain or shine. Make sure to wear waterproof, treaded shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Don’t forget water, bug spray, and sunscreen!
