Mendelssohn Piano Trio and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet “Fauré and Ravel: a Leap of Imagination in the Art of Belle Époque” Feb. 9 4 p.m., Parmer Hall Sponsored by the Performing Arts Series Mendelssohn Piano Trio and violist Elias Goldstein will collaborate with Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet in a performance of Gabriel Fauré’s passionate, poetic and playful Piano Quartet in C minor, choreographed by Alan Hineline. Violinist Claudia Chudacoff, former concertmaster of the “President’s Own” United States Marine Band, will join the musicians in Ravel’s celebrated String Quartet, concluding the program which explores monumental changes in French art of the Belle Époque. Ticket prices are $15 for adults; $5 for Messiah University students (with ID) and youth (18 and under).
