Mayfest Of Huntingdon is the only festival of its kind in least on the East Coast. A different historical theme in each of FIVE BLOCKS in downtown Huntingdon, PA. Mayfest presents living history programs with period-correct dancing, music, re-enactors and demonstrations. Children’s activities and educational fun are in abundance along with great food and craft vendors. Free music on every block, costumes, carriage rides, plus a quilt show and sale & arts show and sale. 150+ vendors! FREE ADMISSION! FREE PARKING! Located 2 blocks from Huntingdon PA Amtrak station. Special events include the annual Redbud Quilt Guild Show at the Huntingdon Community Center and the Huntingdon Arts Council Spring Thaw at the Art Space. Mayfest of Huntingdon (PA) is part dress up/costume event, part community festival, living history educational and music extravaganza. You can literally walk from era to (next block) era and mingle in your Woodstock/tie dyes with folks in full period correct Victorian garb.
