Mada & Hugh ( are an exciting new 4-hand piano ensemble that will be performing a free concert at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Clifton Heights ( on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 7 pm. Featuring Romanian-born pianist Madalina Danila and Korean-American pianist Hugh Sung, Mada & Hugh have performed concerts around the world to rave acclaim. In addition, they produce a weekly podcast show available on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and all other major podcast platforms. Mada & Hugh perform a wide range of music, from classical to their own covers of popular tunes, showcasing the incredible musical variety that comes from two pianists playing together on one piano. This is your chance to see them in person and to truly appreciate the mastery required for two pianists to seamlessly play compositions on the same piano. They will be playing on the world-renowned Bosendorfer 214 VC 7’ grand piano which has graciously been donated by Cunningham Piano for this concert. ( Romanian-born pianist Madalina Danila ( is a graduate of the Bucharest Conservatory and is currently pursuing doctoral studies in piano performance at Temple University. Korean-American pianist Hugh Sung ( is a graduate of The Curtis Institute of Music and currently serves as Vice President of Cunningham Piano. While the concert at St. Mark Lutheran Church is free to the public, a freewill offering will be collected to benefit the neighborhood ministry of the Church. A light reception will follow the performance, where you will have an opportunity to meet Madalina and Hugh up close.
