Grateful ‘n Grilled

A groovin, shakin, good vibrating — and delicious — event for the Dead Head in us all, featuring a musical experience by The Deadbeats! Celebrating their 30th anniversary, The Deadbeats are a seasoned, sought-after Grateful Dead cover band from Hudson Valley, refined by their passion to perform revered jams for fans (and not!) of all generations. Honesdale is just 45 minutes away from the site of the original Woodstock at Bethel Woods, and that same tie-dyed, flower-powered counter-culture has thrived through many generations and continues to be celebrated among the residents and visitors of the beautiful Pocono Mountains and Hudson Valley, NY areas. As some may know, grilled cheese is one of the staple cuisine of Grateful Dead and jam band “shakedowns,” lots, campsites, and tailgate parties. So, we at The Cooperage yearn to create a more complete experience by serving our own homemade grilled cheeses (of many variations) right out of the Cooperage cafe. The grilled creations will feature bread, cheeses, meats, and veggies from local creameries, bakeries, and farmers — with gluten free and vegan options available. Tickets are $15 online in advance; $20 at the door. This event is BYOB, please drink responsibly. All ages are welcome with parental supervision (kids under 5 are free).
