This winter, relive history through stories and presentations featuring some of the best Rangers, historians and authors from across the country. The nine-week series returns to the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center and will include stories such as those of Nicholas Biddle and the first Union defenders called to arms; letters sent home to family and the insight they give us into life during wartime; and topics related to more modern times – such as Presidential missions of peace and never-before seen lifelike recreations of timeless addresses. Gettysburg National Military Park’s Winter Lecture Series takes place 1:30-2:30 p.m. on weekends in the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center from Jan. 7 through Feb. 26, 2023 (no program Sunday, Feb. 12). Free tickets will be available the day of each lecture at the Ticket Counter in the Museum & Visitor Center.
