Flipping Broadway

Experience Broadway in a whole new light. Some of your favorite songs written for men but sung by Kara; and Ken taking the lead on songs originally written for women. The evening will include music from “Funny Girl”, “Hamilton”, “Wicked”, “Little Me”, “Mame” and of course “Sweeney Todd” where Kara Snyder and Ken McMullen first met and performed as Mrs. Lovett and Mr. Todd. This intimate cabaret is filled with theater stories, poignant moments, soaring voices and fun for the whole family. This cabaret is produced by and starring myself, Ken McMullen and my co-producer, Kara Snyder of Karaken Productions. And we are fortunate to have Scott Besser as our music director/arranger and accompanist. The show premiered in September 2018 at the Renegade Winery in East Stroudsburg to a full house. In 2019 we brought the show to the Shawnee Playhouse, the Cooperage in Honesdale, PA, Buck Hill Tennis Tea and Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Milford, PA. After not performing this cabaret for several years, we are thrilled to bring it back to the stage.
