Performers Stacy Roth and folksinger Bob Dupre, together known as “LIBERTY TREE,” present their favorite rhymes, riddles, rounds, and ditties from the 17th to early 19th centuries. In addition to vocals, selected songs are accompanied with guitar, fife, penny whistle, drum, and limberjack. Lots of audience participation. For kids, their parents, and their grandparents! Our interactive features include inventing rhymes, answering riddles, singing along, clapping along, jigging in place, learning Continental soldier facing movements to the drum, etc. “Liberty Tree” combines the talents of Stacy F. Roth and Bob Dupré, two local folk singers with an interest in the American Revolution and Early America. Our presenters will perform from the mansion porch. Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on the lawn. Wear a mask and social distance. Fun for all ages.
