Saturday, September 23 and Sunday, September 24 from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm All for the Union: Military and Civilian Life in the Civil War The Civil War comes to the Peter Wentz Farmstead September 23rd and 24th! Come experience how the War affected society from both a military and civilian perspective. Witness artillery demonstrations from Battery F, First Pennsylvania Light Artillery and see how soldiers camped in the field. Then, meet members of the U.S. Sanitary Commission to learn how civilians aided the war effort. Artillery demonstrations will take place on Saturday at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm, and on Sunday at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. All ages, free. No registration required.
