This class will take place over the course of six sessions, each session lasting 1.5-hours. With 3D printing becoming increasingly accessible, the final challenge lies in mastering the art of designing the objects you wish to print. Despite the abundance of existing models on file-sharing websites, they only tap into a fraction of the potential that today's 3D printers offer. This course focuses on leveraging Blender for modeling and BambuLab printers, highlighting some of the most advanced technologies accessible. It aims to equip participants with the comprehensive knowledge needed to bring any imaginable object to life. By the course's conclusion, students will attain a thorough understanding of 3D printer functions and operations. Moreover, they will have gained valuable insight into the process of transforming an idea into a tangible, printed object. Starting from a mere concept, students will learn to conceptualize, model, and finally hold their creation in their hands. Each participant will depart with a personally modeled and printed object, representing their journey from design to physical realization. At the completion of the class students will gain a 3D printer clearance.
