Celebrate the Summer Solstice along the North Branch of the Susquehanna River – recently named the 2023 Pennsylvania River of the Year – with a vibrant showcase of art and music coupled with an appreciation for our region’s remarkable history and environment. Held on the beautiful river plain at French Azilum Historic Site in Bradford County, PA, the SSSF combines a week of painting for local and visiting artists with a weekend festival of American roots concerts, open jams and lessons, dance instruction, a river paddle, children’s art activities, presentations by historians and environmental experts, as well as tours of the historic site and grounds.
